Jim Gilmour

Welcome to my web site.

This year looks to be an exciting one. Plans include: recording my third solo album, finding a new lead singer for SAGA, and the release of the bands 30th anniversary concert DVD. Another wilderness camping trip is also in the works. This time I’ll remember to take the tent.

Check out the “I&R” section for a new interview; a few surprise answers and some laughs. Don’t forget, I’m always looking for new opportunities, especially in film. I would love to provide the soundtrack music to an independent movie or feature flick. Working with other artists, especially jazz musicians would also be an exciting and rewarding experience.

Also visit the music section for samples from my first solo album, “Instrumental Encounters”. To hear some new song ideas go to the “SoundBites” area. I hope you enjoy them.

My plan is to continue to make this site a great resource of information about my life, my interests and my music. Please visit on a regular basis for updates and additions. Don’t forget to visit my Blog. I look forward to answering your questions there. Feel free to ask me anything.

Talk soon.

Jim

Hello Jim, you made a wonderful website for your fans, Bravo! I'got some technical questions to ask you, and it's been 29 years that I want to ask you those questions, but dream came true when I saw you at the Gesù after the show. You have an incredible style to play, you impressed me when you are sorounds by six or twelve keyboards! I cannot play "Don't be late", I don't know how you're doing it. I can play "The perfectionnist", "no regrets", "scratching the surface", on the loose. Thank you for your respond, when you have a chance, I know you are very booked with the tour right now, Take care, Corinne
